In the middle of the North Sound, southern stingrays gather in two protected Wildlife Interaction Zones: the Sandbar, where the water is about waist-deep, and Stingray City, a shallow dive and snorkel site nearby. Visit Cayman describes the area as approximately 25 minutes by boat from Seven Mile Beach; your actual time depends on where you depart and the conditions.
